SCHEDULE: Part time, full time.

Description:
Seeking skilled, and self-motivated pelvic physiotherapist.

  • We provide individualized, evidence-based, quality client care; emphasized on manual therapy, exercise prescription, and client education.
  • Services offered: physiotherapy (pelvic floor, concussion, neurological and orthopaedic), massage therapy, and support services.
  • Caseload– varied pre- and post-natal, pelvic pain, fertility, neurological and orthopaedic conditions. Pelvic physiotherapy appointment durations vary on needs; Assessments – 60-minute one-on-one.
  • Candidate holds current practice experience in Pelvic Health/Physiotherapy
  • Mentorship program available (team of pelvic physiotherapist physiotherapist).
  • No physiotherapy aides; one-on-one physiotherapy visits.
  • Training in manual therapy, acupuncture/dry needling, exercise prescription – an asset.

Role Responsibilities: 

  • Assessment, develop and execute treatment plans in collaboration with the client’s stated goals within scope of the clinical discipline
  • Implement treatment with an emphasis on manual therapy, collaborating with other therapists, requesting, writing and sharing reports, monitoring progress and adjusting treatment, as needed
  • Functioning within current evidence-based best practice

Skill Requirements: 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Concussion management, TMJ disorder skills/training is an asset

Clinic Administrator

An exciting opportunity to join an incredible team as a Clinic Administrator for an established multidisciplinary physiotherapy and rehab clinic with two locations! The successful candidate will be someone who is fluent in English and is able to effectively communicate over the phone, email and in person with patients. Professional, reliable and attention to detail is of great importance and the successful candidate needs to be able to work in a fast paced, team environment. Experience with electronic medical records, Microsoft office, private insurance billing, and knowledge of physiotherapy and rehabilitation is an asset. There is the possibility for this role to become full-time.

Duties include (but are not limited to)**

Performing reception duties including greeting patients, answering phone calls/inquiries, emails, voicemails, and patient bookings etc.
Must be able to use an electronic medical system for scheduling/confirming appointments, billing and patient record management (Jane app).
Ensure good clinic flow by managing patients and practitioners’ schedules
Direct billing to private insurance providers including claim submission and reconciliation
Managing referrals, mail and faxing
Must be able to use point of sale machine to process payments
Answering patient inquiries, emails and providing assistance to ensure a positive clinic experience on every visit

Pre-requisites include (but are not limited to): **

Experience with Jane appointment booking software is an asset
Completion of Office Administration, Medical program and/or Certified Medical Secretary designation an asset.
Previous experience in a medical office, hospitality and/or retail (or other service industry) is an asset
Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset
Computer proficiency including Microsoft office and email required, experience with electronic charting systems is an asset
Experience with payment processing required, experience with private insurance is an asset
Effective communication skills (Excellent interpersonal skills), both oral and written
Exceptional phone manner
Ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritize and cope with frequent interruptions and deadlines in a calm manner
Good organizational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a team atmosphere
Ability to exercise good judgment and initiative
Ability to ensure professionalism in all communications with existing and potential patients and deliver superior service during each interaction.
Flexibility to work at both clinic locations (40 Holly St. and 1 Bridgepoint Drive) as well as evenings and/or weekends is an asset
