Class Description:
Join us for a unique opportunity to improve your upper limb movement and postural control in a fun and supportive group environment. Led by a skilled physiotherapist and dance teacher/choreographer Darryl Tracy, this four-week course is designed for individuals of all mobility levels who want to improve the movement quality and rhythm of their upper body.
Each week, you’ll focus on a different theme, including breath, expressive hands, and rhythm. You’ll learn new techniques and exercises to activate and strengthen your upper body, while also improving your overall body awareness.
The class is held in a seated position, making it accessible to individuals of all mobility levels. To participate, you must be medically stable and free of cold/flu-like symptoms. Most importantly, you must be willing to participate within a group setting.
