Melissa Lee

Melissa completed a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary and a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto.

Throughout her education, Melissa gained a variety of experiences across orthopedic and neurological care, shaping her appreciation to look beyond a diagnosis and draw from both areas to holistically support a patient’s rehabilitation journey. She has a particular passion for working with neurological and functional neurological disorder populations. With curiosity guiding her mindset, she strives to meet every patient with an open mind and is committed to pursuing ongoing education to continually improve her care.

Melissa values finding the best intersection between evidence-informed practice, hands-on treatment and individual preferences to provide care that aims to empower her patients. She strongly values taking the time to connect with her patients and provide meaningful education so they can feel involved in their care and work towards goals that matter most. Melissa is always excited to learn from her patients just as much as she is excited to support them through physiotherapy!

Outside of the clinic, Melissa loves the outdoors, sun or snow, and especially the mountains. She puts her competitive energy into just about any sport around the city but also loves catching up on the latest movies or exploring new places when she’s taking a break.
