Event Description

START TIME 9am (Eastern Time)

COURSE DESCRIPTION (Live online event)

This live online course will aim to educate physiotherapists about the role of the pelvic floor in postural control as well as give strategies to improve pelvic floor control during neurologic rehabilitation. Basics of pelvic floor anatomy and neurophysiology will be discussed to draw relationships between neurologic and pelvic floor control of the bowel and bladder. Therapists will be able to understand the pelvic floor’s role in postural control for all patients as well as pressure management to improve pelvic floor control in a neurologically impacted pelvic floor.
