Upper and lower extremity braces for the Rehab Population

Wednesday February 8th, 3-4pm

Andrew Lok, Certified Orthotist at Back2Feet, will be presenting various upper and lower extremity bracing options for the neurological and orthopedic patient to improve function and recovery for common impairments seen in hospital and community settings.The participating group will be encouraged to discuss both the advantages and drawbacks of each bracing option, and how certain bracing features can help support the patient towards their rehab goals.

Andrew Lok

Certified Orthotist

Andrew Lok graduated from George Brown College with a Diploma in Clinical Methods in Orthotics and Prosthetics. He specializes in bracing for neurological conditions that result in gait abnormalities (i.e. drop foot), spinal fractures for trauma patients, and advanced technology (i.e. Bioness and Stance Control KAFOs).

He is a member of Orthotics Prosthetics Canada, also the International Society for Prosthetic and Orthotics, and past President on the Board of the Ontario Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists.
