Registered Physiotherapist – With over 30 years of experience as a neurological Physiotherapist, Darryl has worked at Toronto Rehabilitation – Lyndhurst Centre and his current practice at ALPHA focuses on the treatment of individuals with Spinal Cord Injuries, Stroke, Parkinsons, Multiple Sclerosis and Traumatic Brain Injury. He has a keen interest in collaborating with care teams to ensure their seating is optimal for their skin health, quality of life and mobility.

About this In-service:

This 1 hr interactive workshop will look at the sensory input at terminal stance and the motor requirements for dynamic propulsion. Participants will review the current neurophysiology regarding terminal stance in the gait cycle. We will then look at how we can integrate this into our client based practices. The workshop will be directed toward both the MSK and neuro populations. There will be a voluntary practical component to this session.
