Kendra Sheppard
Certified Athletic Therapist
Kendra Sheppard is a Certified Athletic Therapist who graduated from Limestone University in Gaffney, South Carolina with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and a minor in Biology.
Kendra played four years of NCAA lacrosse while obtaining her degree, bringing home three conference championships and an NCAA National Tournament appearance. During her time at Limestone, Kendra had the opportunity to work with many sports teams at the high school, university, and professional level. Following graduation, Kendra gained valuable experience in physiotherapy clinics with pre and post op, workplace and motor vehicle accident injuries, as well as everyday sprain and strains experienced by recreational athletes in the community.
Outside of the clinic, Kendra has furthered her education by becoming proficient in the prescription and fitting of custom orthopedic braces and the use of the McKenzie Method (MDT) for incredible success with treating mechanical pain. Kendra believes that thorough and ongoing assessment and education along with exercise are major components to achieve your rehab and healthy lifestyle goals. Kendra provides safe, gentle, and effective hands-on care and makes ‘feeling better’ an exciting journey to overall better health.
