Rosa has strong clinical reasoning, and the ability to deliver high-quality care in fast-paced, high-performance environments. A cum laude graduate of York University in both Kinesiology and Athletic Therapy, she brings advanced clinical training and extensive experience across professional football, junior hockey, varsity athletics, and post-operative rehabilitation.
Rosa currently works with the Toronto Argonauts as a Seasonal Athletic Therapist, where she contributed to the team’s 111th Grey Cup Championship and supported a medical staff ranked #1 in the CFLPA’s 2024 Report Card. In this role, she provides acute and emergency sideline care, collaborates with physicians and rehabilitation specialists, and manages complex post-operative and return-to-play cases. She applies a broad range of manual and therapeutic modalities to optimize recovery and performance for elite football athletes.
Beyond the CFL, Rosa has significant experience in junior hockey and varsity sport, where she developed EAPs, concussion protocols, injury rehabilitation, and structured post-operative rehabilitation pathways while supporting athlete safety and performance. She maintains current emergency care certifications, advanced concussion training, and memberships with CATA and OATA, continually investing in her professional growth.
Known for her calm presence, collaboration, and evidence-informed practice, Rosa is dedicated to helping athletes return to play safely and confidently. She aspires to continue advancing in professional sport with the long-term goal of becoming a Head Athletic Therapist at the elite level.
