Lauren Harding prides herself on creating a warm and welcoming environment for her clients. She has experience working with a variety of muscular-skeletal injuries and neurological conditions, and strives to maximize her client’s movement and function to get them back to doing the things they love!

Lauren has an Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph and has completed a Masters in Physiotherapy from McMaster University where she was awarded the ‘Physiotherapy Expert’ and ‘Leadership Scholarship’ Awards in recognition of her academic excellence, leadership, and professionalism.

Her previous work as a Registered Kinesiologist has provided her with years of experience in exercise prescription that she incorporates regularly with her clients. Her volunteer work with Parkinson’s Canada designing and delivering a weekly exercise program has given her a unique lens into treating those living with the disease.

Lauren was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and grew up in Oakville, Ontario where she developed a love for sports and movement through soccer, swimming, gymnastics and ballet. Her years of dance training and her time as a professional ballet dancer helped to inspire her career in physiotherapy.

Lauren is an avid learner who has taken specialized courses to better equip her with the tools to help her clients succeed, including BoneFit training for those living with Osteoporosis and certifications in Progressing Ballet Technique. In her free time, Lauren continues to practice ballet, is active in Pilates and strength training and has recently taken up bouldering at her local rock climbing gym.

Whether you’re trying to get back to your active lifestyle after an injury, or seeking a neurological physiotherapist to help optimize your movement, Lauren would be thrilled to connect with you!
