My interest in physiotherapy began when I was completing my graduate degree in Parkinson’s research. I found the brain and neuroanatomy so fascinating and it really piqued my interest in exploring neuro rehabilitation. I had not realized the full breadth and scope of physiotherapy as a profession until this point and after learning about all of the incredible effects of physical rehab for neurological injuries it really solidified my choice to pursue a career in physiotherapy. Through all of my experience on clinical placements and in the workplace and working with so many different populations I have come to realize how great of an impact physio can have on people’s lives.
